Hi, I’m Josh, and this little crested gecko, Gremlin, is where it all started.

Getting him after months of searching was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made – and he inspired a passion that goes far beyond just keeping reptiles.

I wanted Gremlin’s home to be more than adequate – I wanted it to be the best. That’s when I discovered bioactive enclosures: living, self-sustaining habitats that mimic the natural world. To make them thrive, you need the right soil, plants, and cleanup crew – and that’s where isopods come in.

Through months of research, propagation, and hands-on care, I learned how to create safe, thriving environments for both reptiles and isopods. Today, with four crested geckos and thousands of isopods, my mission is simple: provide high-quality, safe, and affordable isopod kits, substrates and supplies so that anyone can buikd their own thriving bioactive enclosures enclosures.
